  • My name is Kathryn Haslam director at Muscle Therapy Massage and Comfyi. I’ve been a qualified masseuse for over 20 years and been lucky enough to work across Europe alongside some great Osteopaths and Physiotherapists.

    During that time I became increasingly frustrated that I couldn’t find a massage table headrest cushion which delivers on the main 3 things, comfort, support and hygiene.

  • The headrest cushion is of great importance as, if your client’s face is uncomfortable in the prone position they will, naturally, try to raise their face to take the pressure away thus putting strain on their lower back.

    So 3 years of prototyping, 8 month’s testing at Lancaster University and Duku Design in Cheltenham and a Patent pending, Comfyi is finally ready to launch. I use it at my practice with 100% positive results from my clients.

  • Comfyi is extremely well thought through. Its adjustable nature makes it incredibly comfortable for any size face allowing you to relax and feel well supported. The material is hygienic and easily cleaned yet very soft and gentle with no seems around the face. Using this face rest meant for the first time that I finished a massage without red marks across the forehead and cheeks! As a physiotherapist I feel this design would ensure more patient comfort particularly in prone positions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product.
